Three Days Grace is a modern underground band that started their music with metal. The guys gathered in Canada in 1992. The group was originally called Groundswell. Later, vocalist Neil Sanderson changed the name to Three Days Grace, explaining it as a push for further development.
The boys were still schoolchildren at the time they assembled their group. They did not have musical experience yet. Rehearsing a lot and gaining this experience, in 1995 they released their first album: Wave of Popular Feeling. The musicians relaxed a bit and did not attend rehearsals for two years, believing that they had already done a great job.
Performers are assisted by a manager who introduces them to producer Gavin Brown, known for promoting popular solo artists and bands. The guys showed the producer all their records that have accumulated over this short time. Gavin saw talent in the young musicians and even gave them the comic nickname "golden nuggets." With his help, the guys record a demo album and send it to the label: EMI Music Publishing Canada. The record is gaining popularity among various labels, and the musicians are signing a contract with Jive Records. After that, they go to North Brookfield, where they begin recording the album. The guys are finishing the long-awaited collection in New York in the summer of 2003. A vinyl called: Three Days Grace is released.
Music critics from around the world have recognized the album as a success. Three Days Grace is gaining its musical audience among alt metal fans. Canadian radio stations are constantly playing their songs, distributing successful material. The song "I Hate Everything About You" is in the TOP in the positions of "Billboard Hot 100" and "Billboard Alternative Songs". The publication is gaining more and more popularity and receives gold status, as well as double platinum status for RIAA and CRIA certification.
In 2003, the musicians began touring and giving concerts at various festivals, but no longer as a regular group of festivals, but as headliners.
In the spring of 2009, the guys released a new studio album Three Days Grace with the support of Bens Howard, who has repeatedly worked with musicians.
In the same year, later, another music album "Life Starts Now" was released. The presentation was new and unusual for the fans. The vocals became more melodic, and the style of music performance was already close to post-grunge. Until 2011, the band is touring. The album has a circulation of 79, 000 copies worldwide.
In November 2015, a new album "Fallen Angel" is released. The band continues to be popular today.
